Dignified Bird?

 Great Blue Heron (GBH)

GBHs are stately birds, don't you think?

Is this GBH laughing?

Bwahaha! Sometimes dignified looking but  not always, as this GBH seems to be demonstrating.

Waiting for a tasty fish to swim by

But they do know how to maintain their focus, standing motionless for long periods...

Stretching it's wing

although sometimes they need to change direction and even stretch.

I am linking to Saturday Critters HERE.

  8. Really neat picture of him stretching. Herons are like dancers, they always look good no matter what position they're in.

  9. I have always liked watching the Herons. We have them all year round but they are usually skittish. When they see my camera zoom off they go. You got some nice pics. MB
