Autumn Colour

 Autumn leaves

The leaves are turning vibrant colours! No wonder so many people say this is their favourite time of year.

The grasses look golden in the sunshine, especially when contrasted with blue skies.

    Beautiful colours and fab shots. Didn't know that lily pads also change colour. Nothing changes colour here in Brisbane.

    i like that first one of the leaves, awesome macro shot. and the lily pads are so pretty, i did not know they change colors to... even your rusty ART is in fall colors

    OH!! I have never seen lily pads in the fall! I had just assumed they died and dried up. But these are like big circles of pure gold floating in a blue sky. Even the water is gorgeous. And the leaves are super pretty. This long grass does indeed look like actual liquid gold. You live in a gorgeous place!

    Yes I think most people love Fall for the colors and sometimes the weather---gently warm.

    The colors are quite beautiful! This is my favorite time of the year, hands down. I named my daughter Autumn, after all. :) She was born in winter. The lily pads and grasses photo is really special.
