Winery window display
Friends of ours own and operate a small winery and in the entranceway there's a charming window and shelf with old stuff I wish I owned. I'd love to have those wooden birds. I'm sure I could find a place for them...okay, pretty sure.
The window above the three birds has one more bird
In celebration of the old and wonderful "stuff", I am connecting to Rubbish Tuesday HERE.

That's some great looking 'old' stuff. I'd like to have it in my window, too.
ReplyDeleteOh, I let my wood work lover husband see the birds; he was facilitated♡♡♡ He said he can find the place for them too:-)

I especially like how the light is falling on what looks to me like a willet in that second shot. And there's just something magical about the interaction between sunlight and certain kinds of glass.
ReplyDeleteThese wooden carvings catch the light beautifully at the window and are lovely indoor reminders of wildlife.
ReplyDeleteYou take the birds and I'll have those old milk bottles in their wicker holders, ok?
ReplyDeleteso beautiful, i like the bottles and the candle holders. and the cute little keg.
ReplyDeleteYes those duck decoys would be fun to own! Looks like a nice place. Hope their wine is good too.
ReplyDeleteSunny still life.
ReplyDeleteNice display of some lovely old pieces. I like the iron wheel outside the window too.
ReplyDeletepretty!!! And I have to mention that beautiful sunlight drifting through the wooden window pane.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous setting for a winery.
oh, me, too!!! used to collect wooden birds and duck decoys. only have a few around that i kept.
ReplyDeleteI love those bottles, in the first image!! I wonder what they were used for...
ReplyDeleteI do like them, and I like the way you've photographed them.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I love all your photos of whatever!! And these are no exception!! The window is terrific! So much clarity and wonderful colors! Thanks for sharing not only the beauty of your world, but of your photography as well! Have a great new week!!
ReplyDeleteLovely still-lifes!
ReplyDeleteI love these shots. It is begging me to draw it.
ReplyDeleteLove these handmade things!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteBrilliant wooden waterlife.
ReplyDeleteLovely display!
ReplyDeleteNice art work.
Very pretty and quite lovely, and it doesn't even stand out as a winery!
ReplyDeleteI like that bird in the bottom shot!
ReplyDeleteThe Ducks (Mallards?) remind me of Ducks Unlimited store in Jackson Square Mail in Hamilton, Ont.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the fine find and you have (if I may point out) done a great job of controlling/accounting-for the lighting.
Beautiful work, Tina.
Peace :)
I would love these too!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind having a couple of them. And a glass of wine.
ReplyDeleteThe ducks make a good window display.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful arrangement on the windows.
ReplyDeleteThose wooden ducks are really nice! They would look good in a cottage. :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those carved birds. I want them and I have absolutely zero room anywhere. And oh my gosh do you know how to pick friends or what!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty window displays.. I love the bird carvings.. and the candle holders? Enjoy your new week ahead!
ReplyDeleteLove the decoys. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteI could definitely find a place for all of those birds!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely an eye catcher that would draw the customers in.
ReplyDeleteI have several carved wooden birds - I display them in a guest room. A large swan graces our master bath.
ReplyDeleteI love window shopping! And I would buy the bottles in the basket and the tall bird! It is better doing window shopping on a blog, because look at the money we save!
ReplyDeleteGreat still life shots!!
ReplyDeleteI just love that kind of stuff. I don't want to own it though.
ReplyDeleteInteresting display.
ReplyDeleteLovely. Some day I want a wooden loon. There are loons on the lake I visit in New Hampshire some summers. It is shocking how few there are left. I went to a loon conservation center this summer and learned that there are only about 1,000 loons left in New Hampshire. They take about six years to mature enough to breed, and they are susceptible to pollution and lead sinkers from fishermen.
ReplyDeleteI remember apothecary and beakers in some old film. Love it!
ReplyDeleteSeeing the old milk bottles brought back many memories of me and my grandfather bottling milk into them and then delivering them
ReplyDeleteThat is really a beautiful window display !
ReplyDeleteSimple and very effective display!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful window, I have one of my Father's hunting ducks who has a front and center spot in our home :-).
ReplyDeletelovely glimpses
ReplyDeleteI like those birds, too. JD has a couple of them and I have an extra spot where one would fit. Not sure about making room for more than one, though.
ReplyDeleteVintage!
ReplyDeleteLove the wooden birds EG, I do have one almost exactly like the one in your second shot.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great display, I too like the wooden birds.
ReplyDeleteVery attractive window displays!
