Wild Turkey's head
Last Saturday I posted three photos of wild turkeys HERE. They were hard to take photos of because they bobbed their heads up and down as they scurried about. But the turkey shown here actually stood still for a few seconds.

As you can see, turkey feathers are quite colourful in bright sunshine.

Great shot of the turkey's head. The colors and textures are amazing. Fortunately his feathers are sensationally lovely. The iridescence and layering are incredible.

Gorgeous wild turkey shots and those feathers are amazing. We have lots of wild turkeys around our cabin, but don't get this close of shots for sure!

Oh my gosh! What stunning close ups. We see wild turkeys in the mts. but never close enough to make out such detail. So interesting to see the intricate layering in the feathers.

ReplyDeletePerhaps a face only a mother could love. I am in AZ getting some R and R. I needed it. Of course my fun was hampered by a car crash. I guess I've gotten too used to driving on country roads rather than in rush-hour traffic!
