Those are some interesting back yards. If your house is that close to any kind of water around here, you better be prepared to have an alligator or two as a neighbor!
Dearest EG; Oh I always wish to live close to water. Marvelous reflections with fence on the water♬♬♬ Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
no grass because you are close to water is a not a bad deal at all! I could definitely live without mowing all summer. LOVE the reflections you captured here. lovely.
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.
Great fences and cool reflections!
ReplyDeleteVery neat! I do like the reflections, but I don't think I'd like to live so close to the water; it seems a house like that could easily be flooded.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place to chill out!
ReplyDeleteYou always capture such interesting angles and reflections, and elevate the 'mundane' to the 'gloria'.
Terrific reflections!
ReplyDeleteI think it's the problems with ice that would keep me from having a place on the water.
my hubby has always wanted a back yard just like these, he had to settle for a pool, just not the same... were you in a boat?
ReplyDeleteThose decks look a little tipsy in the water. Nice reflections of the fences. Enjoy the day!
ReplyDeleteSandra,
ReplyDeleteThese "backyards are next to a narrow inlet with a boat launch. I was on the other side of the inlet.
I like the variety of fencing. And how wood is affected by water. Some cool reflections here, too!
ReplyDeleteIf I would live that close to the water a deck would be plenty for me :) Great pictures with real nice reflections!

nice fences and reflections! i think i'd miss grass. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely fences and reflections! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteYou'd need more than a picket fence to keep that water out, if it ever got unruly.
ReplyDeleteNice! No mowing . . . (sigh). :-)
ReplyDeleteGoodness gracious me, I can't decide which I like better the real or the reflections?! Marvelous spread.
ReplyDeleteGreat fences and I too like the reflections.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty neat. Great reflections. Let's just hope they're not flooded.
ReplyDeleteA double fence. The reflection is a bonus.
ReplyDeleteVery unique "backyards" and you captured great reflections along with the fences. Have a great day. Jo
ReplyDeleteI do love the reflections and such great shots for the day!! Hope your week is going well, EG!! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteReally neat pictures. I have always found that people who live right on the water think a little bit different.
ReplyDeleteTheir lives become tied to that water.
Wonderful shots.
ReplyDeleteNice photos with the reflections! I so often wish to live by the water...

ReplyDeleteHow interesting to have water as your "backyard". I really like the way you captured the reflections of the fences in the water.
ReplyDeleteVery nice pictures I love seeing them because its something I wouldnt otherwise get to without you sharing, thanks.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd back the house off a bit from the water! And keep the decks, EG.
ReplyDeleteNice fences, and what a lovely reflection!!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind that kind of backyard. It's easy to care for, at least!
ReplyDeletebeautiful but I would be scared of storms :(
ReplyDeleteNo grass to cut. I'm down with that. Nice pics!
ReplyDeleteLove the rustic feel of these images and those reflections are great!
ReplyDeleteI like the rustic feel of these fences.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind having a dock myself...
ReplyDeleteNo grass to mow? That works for me! Pretty.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, but I would need just a little bit of green grass!

ReplyDeleteI would love to live near the water, just not too close.. Great fence shots..
ReplyDeleteNice fences - and nice reflections!
ReplyDeleteI could get used to a liquid backyard. Just raise the house a few feet in case of a storm.
ReplyDeleteGreat reflection. Fence does a nice job providing privacy.
ReplyDeleteA different sort of 'yard'
