YUM! Hay!
It was time for a late afternoon snack and this horse was "
horses have gotta be quick to eat in the sun.
Although one did check out what the photographer was up to and...
another decided to take a closer look.
I am linking to Saturday Critters HERE.
So I guess some horses are more cold-natured than others and that's why some wear coats and some don't? :-)
ReplyDeleteThe jacket-less horse has a beautiful colour!
ReplyDeleteThe sun helps the photos too -- ay least a little every now and then. 😄

Such a beautiful shot! The horse in the first picture must wear a blanket at night too because the coat isn't as thick as it would be if not. These pictures bring back such sweet memories.
ReplyDeletethe horse coming to see you has a blaze that looks like a cross on his head.. smiled at the one with his head buried deep in the hay.. i assume the first horse chose not to wear his coat that day
ReplyDeleteAh, I do love horses!! Had two of my own for years and they were Arabians! Still miss them! Wonderful captures for the day as always!
ReplyDeleteHorses always seem to enjoy their food so much. Just makes you happy to watch them.
ReplyDeleteSomething about horses make them very photogenic. Nice shots.
ReplyDeleteI am sure he was thinking you might have something better than hay to offer ... they are all beautiful. I hope being coatless isn't an issue ... it does look cold out there.
