Front Porch

 Front porch shadows

Yesterday was a rare sunny day ripe for shadows.  Actually, I was driving down a country road looking for interesting shadows on snow.  Then I saw these! How could I NOT stop?

Closeup of shadow on door of bench's arm

Unfortunately the porch had pillars holding up the roof so finding a good angle - from the road - was tricky.

Another bench shot

I am linking to Shadow Shot Sunday 2 HERE.

  11. You absolutely could not not stop. I mean, really, you were shadowing shadows. And only the Shadow knows! Or something like that.

Re your poem. It is really cute and is somewhat familiar - I think I may have heard it in my childhood but my memory ain't what it used to be. Nothing else is, either, but we're talking about memory. Jeez!
