Shadows on floor
Although it has been a very cold February, the sun has appeared quite a bit. Our sunroom has south-facing windows so when the sun shines the room is cheerfully bright.
Bottom of the table that's casting the shadows
Looking at the shadows through beveled glass in the doors leading to the sunroom
The sun is shining but the sunroom is otherwise unheated.
I am linking to Shadow Shot Sunday 2 HERE.
Lovely shadows- and I like that table!
ReplyDeleteour kitchen used to be a sunroom and it faces south. when the house burned and they remodeled, the opened the kitchen and made it bigger and took in the sun room, that is why the dogs and i sit there in the sun in the winter time.. it is our sun room. i love the shadows through the glass. i am a big fan of beveled glass
ReplyDeleteGreat table and wonderful shadows/sunlight for a cold, cold day!! Great captures for the day as always! Hope you're enjoying a great weekend -- even if it is freezing cold!!!
ReplyDeletethat's a really nice shadow shot
ReplyDeletemuch love...
I love the added dimension of shadow in the third shot looking through the glass!
ReplyDeleteAt least you did not leave me wondering what made the shadow! And I am so thankful that we have for the most part not had to any spells where we didn't see the sun for ages. As long as I can have a bit of sun each day, I can live;-)
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the coolest shadows I have seen. And SO mysterious. I am glad you showed us what it is, I would never have guessed. LOVE that table!!
ReplyDeleteLovely shadows in the sun room - although in a cold Ontarian winter, I'd take all the pics I could from inside! South facing sunroom - wish we had one in February!
ReplyDeleteI am so grateful for the sun as we would have had a truly miserable winter otherwise. As always lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteNice shadows. Cold doesn't seem as bad when it's sunny.
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful seeing the sun and the shadows.. Cool captures..

ReplyDeleteSurprises are right in front of us..Awesome last pic!!!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteThat table casts amazing shadows!
ReplyDeleteThe table casts beautiful shadows. We have the opposite problem with our sun room (the Florida room) -- it gets too hot sometimes (even sometimes when we don't really need A/C in the rest of our tiny house, all the glass makes this room too hot). But it is perfect for the cooler days we're having right now.
ReplyDeleteNeat shadow shots here EG.
ReplyDeleteCool pictures, lovely...
ReplyDeleteCreative captures, the last one is perfection!
ReplyDeleteI hope it is a wee bit warm for you on these sunny but cold days, EG! Looks wonderful.

Lovely shadows...
ReplyDeleteNice sunshine and shadows. It always strikes me a bit odd the sunshine coming from the south ... it comes from the north in the Southern Hemisphere.
ReplyDeleteLove the table and the shadows.
ReplyDeleteThe table base is a gorgeous design and love the arty view in the last photo. Almost like a peek at crazy mirrors.
ReplyDeleteneat table :)
