These two Canada Geese were walking back and forth in front of this branch. Geese are claiming their territories, honking ferociously to keep others away.
February was such a month cold that now 8°C feels like heatwave. I had some red wing black birds in my backyard last week. In my area they are one of the first birds to return from the south.
I love how the snow is gradually melting away and the gardens are coming back into view. Just need a bit of warmth now to get rid of the rest of the dirty snow.
Beautiful! We also have Canada geese here. And I love them among other birds. I think they are wise, they always look as. Melting snow is good, for the birds and for us. But here it's snowing today!
Ah, I love Spring just like the ducks!! Isn't it wonderful to see blue skies again!! Beautiful captures as always!! Have a beautiful day and a beautiful new week!! Enjoy!
You've captured a beautiful scene - the cabin and trees of late winter, just waiting for spring. Geese are fun to watch and they can certainly be noisy!
Isn't it wonderful to see the snow melting! We are in heavy melt down here in Michigan. The shores of the Great Lakes are freeing up once again. I love seeing the birds arrive and watching their behavior. I heard some Canada geese going over yesterday- a sure sign of spring in our area!
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.

ReplyDeleteThat does look like a seasons end shot - our leaves are picking up some colour now, so maybe the seasons are turning.
