Interesting work on the photos and thanks for the links to memes ... I have not seen them before ... Glad to find them. Enjoyed your comment on State Nicknames. I agree, they are interesting for sure.
number 3 would look great on my blog, fits my MO.. love it and i like that house. down here we call those Storm shutters, they are used when storms are lurking...
I love those striped shutters. How unusual to close off the upstairs windows and not the downstairs ones but maybe they choose to live only in the downstairs in the winter.
Now those ARE different!! Great shots for the day, as always, and a smile to start mine!! Hope your week is going well!! Enjoy -- camera in hand, of course!!
I love these interesting shutters. And your digital take on them, is brilliant Thanks for the links to the memes. I'm off to check them out. Greetings, Jo

ReplyDeleteCreative use of stripes, have always loved shutters around windows.
ReplyDeleteThat is odd! Do they close off the top floor for winter?
ReplyDeleteI like the original best. Lovely home.
ReplyDeletePerfection, thanks.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen shutters like this! And now I wonder why? They are so much more fun than the plain solid colors.

I've not seen anything like this one before. That third modification really takes off. I like that the pattern has become...unrecognizable.
ReplyDeleteNice house picture, Ms. TG. Personally I would not like to have red trim on a nice plain white house.
ReplyDelete..
Beautiful post.
ReplyDeletethe red stripes looks gorgeous on that house. My favorite stripe is the first one :)
ReplyDeleteNot everyone can get away with striped shutters. I wonder what the neighbors think?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous view of the shutters in the first photo. So scenic. And some intriguing edits of the stripes.

Love these red striped shutters ! They look so cheerful !
ReplyDeleteThat looks a bit like summer at the seaside to me even though it's red rather than the usual blue!
ReplyDeleteYour photography is so creative and colorful for S!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend coming to you,
artmusedog and carol
I like how those stripes evolved.
ReplyDeleteThe View from the Top of the Ladder
Those stripes really stand out!
ReplyDeleteIf the trimming of the house were only blue instead of green, it could be patriotic.
ReplyDeleteSuch cool shutters! Love it!
ReplyDeleteMakes me think of candy canes and/or Christmas.
ReplyDeleteNo blogging...just catching up a little bit.
You do so well and have inspired me, like the oak leaves. Much fun!
