Pulmonaria (Bethlehem sage)
Although this is a photo from four years ago, Pulmonaria is in bloom in my garden at the moment. The blossoms are tiny so barely noticeable...especially since the garden still needs a major cleanup. (I have more than one garden and another one needs refurbishing even more , so that's the one I'm currently working in.)
I like the way the blossoms open pink and turn blue as they age.
Those are beautiful.

ReplyDeleteAh, these take me back to when my father had these in his garden. When he passed on I continued with them & even planted new ones, but tree shade prevented them from looking their best. Just love the colour variations. Your photos are wonderful & inspiring. At least someone else is photographing East Gwillimbury besides me,(& doing a very good job!)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, mine doesn't look like it made it this year...not yet anyway!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteEG, this is just gorgeous! I love the colors.
ReplyDeleteHi John, I think my climate doesn't encourage Pulmonaria to spread. I wish it would. :))
