Stairway Shadows

Starway shadow, Petrocor Petroleum Corporation, now abandoned

The area is fenced off and I took these photos through holes in the fence.

  3. I always wonder how it would be to walk up the steps on the side of things...looks like a long climb.

  4. Yow! You would never know where these steps are until you show the next picture! Even for a million dollars I would not go up those steps. But the shadow is great!

  5. Very defined shadows. The shadowy angle and steps are quite intimidating for those with a fear of heights such as I have.

  9. Love this. The shadow makes it almost look moveable.

  10. One wonders with it being abandoned at what point that'll start becoming a problem, structurally speaking.

  11. I used to walk up steps like that when I worked in processing plants. I always thought the welding to the tanks wasn't that great. Better to take pictures.
