The TV weather man this morning say it's officially the first day of summer over here. I suspect you may be a little behind us so it's wonderful to see these lovely pictures. The first one is my favourite, a smashing close up...
I did have mayapples growing beside my porch...then we extended it and covered them up. BUT, we covered up Jack in the pulpit, and now they are on the outside again, so maybe the Mayapple will be someday, too. I really need to go and get more...I would not have to go far.
Aren't there just so many woods plants that are wonderful!
Beautiful. Being in California, I forget that spring flowers must just be popping elsewhere, especially in places that had lots of snow. Take 25 to Hollister

It certainly is beautiful out there. My mayapples are done blooming already. Just saw a couple of flowers on them this year.
