Oh, I love your fancy shadow shots for the day!! I've seen some of these "details" on some new homes here in Portland and I really like them! A nice "look back"!! Hope you're enjoying your weekend!!
That is interesting detail to add to a house, it does give it a rather Victorian air. I like the shadows. I see that kind of detail on houses in Portland, but not so much where I live.
they have something similar, on the house they are building next door to use. the house they have been building for 18 months, and it's till not done!!
i like these little touches, they kind of personalize the home!!!
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.

ReplyDeleteI am not sure about these added bits but I do like your images of them. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeletei love gingerbread on houses and this is beautiful, modern day ginger bread, but what makes the photos special is the LIGHT and the shadows.
ReplyDeleteIt looks really nice indeed.
ReplyDeleteit does give them the "old" touch. Personally I love gingerbread trim on houses.
ReplyDeleteI"m not to well versed in Victorian but I wonder is "kinda Victorian" sort of like "kinda pregnant?"
ReplyDeleteI almost like the shadows better!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to pay more attention. Haven't seen any signs of a Victorian resurgence. :-)

ReplyDeleteLove these architectural details and nice play in the shadows.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. This one is done rather cheaply, EG, but at least they are trying to make their houses more attractive.
