Trumpeter Swan

Although hunting is allowed in this marsh in fall, Trumpeter Swans are a protected species here.

  14. What beautiful photos of this amazing bird. When i was in Maryland recently at a musuem, there were a lot of swan decoys. How sad to hunt these beautiful birds.

  30. Love to see the Trumpeter Swan. When they winter here all we ever see are them in farmers fields eating never looking so graceful in the water. thanks
