Warm weather brings out the old cars. I've seen a few around town lately but this one I was able to capture with my lens because it sat all alone in a hardware store parking lot waiting for its owner to do some errands.

ReplyDeleteQue lindo! bjs, ótima semana,chica
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! It looks like a custom job to me but I'm sure somebody will come along and tell us what it is.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beauty. I'm guessing it's a Chevy from the mid-30s. Well, that's what it was originally, I think.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun vintage car—great photos.
ReplyDeleteWow! So cool!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty elegant vehicle EG, that's a bit different.. the blue trim!
ReplyDeleteYa, fabulous custom job.
ReplyDeleteI like the blue stripe. It's interesting for that vintage that it doesn't have a hood ornament.
ReplyDeleteit is a 32 chevy coupe sedan i am pretty sure. bob will know. he isn't home
ReplyDeleteOh wow, what a gorgeous old classic. Your photos are great!
ReplyDeleteThat would be a fun ride.
ReplyDeleteCool car, so shiny and pretty! Have a happy day and new week ahead!
ReplyDeletemakes me want to stick out my thumb and go hitchhiking!!!!
ReplyDeleteThey're out and about in full force over here too, and they're just a hit in the parades around town. I think it's a Chevy too, it does have a small Chevrolet emblem in front!
ReplyDeleteAll old classics should look this good. You could eat off that engine it is so sparkling clean.
ReplyDeleteIt looks spotless!
ReplyDeleteVery impressive.
ReplyDeleteIt's always such fun to spot such a beauty, EG!
ReplyDeleteNot many old cars around here... I mean: nice very old cars!
ReplyDeleteQuite a classic! I've got a few of them coming up in future posts before month's end.
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific classic this is indeed!! Love your captures!! Thanks as always for sharing!! You do find such great, fun, beautiful things in your world to share with us!! Hope you have a great new week!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a real beauty! I like that it's white with the purple striping around it. All those old cars were mostly black or wine coloured originally. Someone's put a lot of work into this beauty.
ReplyDeleteLucky owers, wonderfull car.

It is a beauty...I always wonder would I drive them or would I be too afraid of someone running a shopping cart into them? Roger says why have them if you don't drive them...I sort of agree but also know I would be sick at heart if something happened to it.
ReplyDeleteVery cool car! Looks like something ZZ Top would drive.
ReplyDeleteIt is a 1934 Chevrolet Standard which has been made into a Streetrod! I didn't actually know that, I cheated and got hubby to tell me! Thought you might like to know! Great car and great photos! xx
ReplyDeleteVery cool find! I love the exposed working parts on the sides. Pretty color, too!
ReplyDeleteI have never had much interest in cars but I do like to see the old ones that are out this time of year.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking, fun car. My guess is that this started life as a 1935 Chevy sedan, but has been highly modified since. The top has been chopped (lowered), and perhaps other body modifications. The drive train is all modern, Chevy V-8. So, under that old looking body is a new, powerful car with modern suspension, brakes, rear end, and other parts. Summer is a great time to look for interesting cars. Keep your eyes open. This is someone's hot rod dream.
ReplyDeleteHi Tina,
ReplyDeleteThat's a very nicely taken care of car.
Someone has put a lot of time into it.
I see from the comments of "Taken For Granted" the possible technical details of the car and that must be a fast car.
Have a Great Day!!
Peace :)
Cool looking car!

ALOHA
Very classic looking!
ReplyDeleteFor some odd reason, I don't like cars with apparent engines!
ReplyDeleteWhatever it is, it would be fun to ride around town in it.
ReplyDeleteDarla
Even though I am not a car guy, I really do enjoy seeing old cars like this. Better to see them than to own one!
