Country fence being reclaimed by Mother Nature

Weeds are dragging this split cedar rail fencing down.

Same fence, different view

  1. A pity to see it being pulled down like that, but you've captured it so beautifully it might have been a-purpose.

  2. One of the most common fences in Ontario. There must have been plenty of cedar trees here at one time.

  30. One wonders how long it'll take before there's really no trace of that fence left.

  31. Mother Nature has no mercy! Or as Richard Dawkins says, the universe is hostile to life as we know it. Your photos give visual expression to those sentiments!

  43. These fence railings make beautiful photos but I'm especially taken by the bright yellow greens (and that splash of red in the first shot) of late summer. They really pop in these shots.
