Field and barn on October 1st
As you can see, the trees are still looking quite green, but the night temperatures are falling sharply so it won't be long for it to look like autumn here. The cut field looks like fall, though.
Drying cow corn...but the fields, trees and shrubs are still green
Colours plus the fences emphasize the differences between the fields

Yup... cold night temperatures do indicate that fall is very close. I hope to take a fall driving tour soon.
ReplyDeleteIt all looks and sounds very similar to the weather over here at the moment. My favourite time of year.
ReplyDeleteGreat view of autumn. Love the first barn shot.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fine and picturesque landscape.

Lindo belas fotografias.
ReplyDeleteUm bom Domingo.
Fall is slow to arrive here in Minnesota, too. You caught the autumn spirit in these photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful autumn scenes! Captured beautifully! xx
ReplyDeleteLooks much like it does here in Texas. Many of our farmers are making their last hay cut of the year and the temps have dropped here into the high 40s/low 50s during the evening and we have gorgeous 70/80s during the day. I could live like this forever!
ReplyDeleteI love that barn. And how surprising that your trees are still green.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great barn to photograph. Rusty top and weathered sides. Perfect.
ReplyDeleteIt was a fantastic 45 degrees here this morning- I LOVE it! I am so glad to finally see a bit of fall. Nice barn capture- I really like to see those rusty roofs!
ReplyDeleteA great combination of summer and fall at the same time and wonderful captures of both, as always!! I love your blue, blue skies, too! They are a great back drop for your pics!! I do hope you have a great new week!! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI am envious, it is not so nice in town...
ReplyDeletePretty. I need to take a ride in the country. It's either too blasted hot here, or it's raining.
ReplyDeleteLovely rural scenes!
ReplyDeleteA nice series...perhaps you could do a repeat in say, three weeks?
ReplyDeleteEven with the trees still green, a very autumn feel to these shots.
ReplyDeletebeautiful color and light.
ReplyDeleteThe light has changed but only a few Maple trees have a bit of colour so far.
ReplyDeleteLovely fall scenes.
ReplyDeletei see a little gold in your trees, seems you are on the threshold of autumn. We are deeply into the season. Your photos are a joy to see.
ReplyDeleteGreat transitional photos....perfect!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteGorgeous scenes, no matter the color!
ReplyDeleteThree excellent images, EG. I am getting nervous about the delay in having the leaves turn. Last time that happened, there was an early ice storm and lots of trouble with broken trees and downed power lines.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous views!
ReplyDeleteI, unlike many, am happy to see green still all over. I know fall is inevitable, I accept that, but I'm holding on to the green as long as possible.
ReplyDeleteTime sure flies fast.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. Loved the barn and the contrast between fields in the last photo. Any field not irrigated here is brown, and since our water is rationed, most fields are not irrigated.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours and lighting in these images
ReplyDeleteWonderful golden scenes
ReplyDeleteMy favourite time of year, lovely shots!
ReplyDeleteLovely capture on barn and fields... the weather seems to be sunny to get good captures.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty fall scenes. We don't have much fall colour here yet either and the grass is so green.
ReplyDeleteopen fields and lot's of country. i adore the feel!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe difference in color is nice, fall will bring out even more.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait!

So beautiful! The fall countryside, that barn...brings back so many memories of similar scenes over the years for me!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots.
ReplyDeleteHope you'll come share at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/10/poor-little-birdie.html
Beautiful fall colors Tina and very peaceful looking. I am guessing that cow corn is corn grown for feed? I guess I hadn't thought about there being different kinds but of course there would be.. Michelle
