Shadows on Pumpkins

A local farm and orchard has decorated apple trees with pumpkins and other gourds for the second year in a row (maybe more years than that, but I know for sure they did it last year too).

Last time I was there the sun was shining creating lovely shadows.

    Hanging pumpkins? I rather like that idea, although our squirrels would take one look and shout "Hooray! It's all you can eat buffet today!"

    I especially like the top photo - the light and shadows add a ghostly appearance to the pumpkins.It's nice to see the gourds hanging, a much more creative approach having a sea of pumpkins on the round - extremely cool!

    Your photos have great color and shadows, but the custom of hanging pumpkins from trees is unusual.
