These are curious critters, but you can't trust them not to nip you! The first time I heard one braying, I was taken aback. That's a terrible sound! :)

They're such characters. I remember the farmer whose field was at the back of our property had a couple of them in with the herd of cows, so if they were in that section of the farm, they'd come up to the fence, particularly if a dog were outside, and just stare at the dog. The dog seemed to despise them.
