a. Cool
Last October this helicopter could be hired to see Muskoka's beautiful fall colours from above. (A bit pricey for my taste; besides, I was happy to see the colour from the ground level. Less camera shake too.)
b. media
The bad news is this newspaper office closed on October 30th. The good news is the company has found a new location and will continue to serve this community.
c. something new
A new East Gwillimbury fire station opened this year. (Remember when the old fire station burned down?!)
This is a well-behaved dog wearing a festive scarf.
e. Clock
We found this clock in the town of Parry Sound.

ReplyDeleteHello, great series for your photo hunt. My favorites are the helicopter and the cute doggie. Have a happy day and week ahead!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all the items you find for these scavenger hunts. :)
ReplyDeleteNice tour on the places around you. The newspaper office and fire station has wonderful architecture... the dog also looks calm enough :)
ReplyDeleteOh what fun, a scavenger hunt! Love your selections. I'm sorry the newspaper is leaving that beautiful brick building. Pretty dog. Must be a Sheltie?
ReplyDeleteInteresting looking clock an that is a cool dude of a dog sporting a scarf! Good that the newspaper is continuing and the fire station looks good. I woud love to ggo up in that helicopter but it probably would be too pricey for me as well! I will be posting tomorrow so hope you will look in on me. Have a good week and see you next week.
ReplyDeleteWonderful thoughts and those photos are lovely.
ReplyDeleteyou know the scarf wearing pup is my favorite today. i like that clock
ReplyDeleteVery nice collection. I've not been in a helicopter and probably never will be. I'm all for less camera shake. Nice to know, too, that the newspaper will continue - we need more independent papers these days! I want one of those dogs!
ReplyDeleteThe well-behaved dog wearing a festive scarf is my favourite. Have a happy week ahead!

Great finds! How terrible that your fire station burned down, that isn't good is it. Good that you have a great new one though! xx
ReplyDeleteAnother great selection, EG! You guys never stay home!!
ReplyDeleteGot to love that dapper dog!
ReplyDeleteYou had me at "the scarf"...:)JP
ReplyDeleteLots of great photos this past week. I'm glad your local newspaper is still going. Ours in still hanging in, too. The donkey certainly seems to be telling you something! Lovely pictures of the rainbow over the lake.
ReplyDeleteNever having flown aboard a helicopter, I'm not sure how shaky a platform that might be.
ReplyDeleteNice variety of shots, I love the dog.
ReplyDeleteWonderful collection for the scavenger hunt. It would be fun to do the helicopter ride, but I agree the photography would be much better from the ground. Lovely dog. How lucky it was wearing a scarf!
ReplyDeleteI like that clock...and I am with you on seeing the color from the ground. That is a beautiful dog...wish I could pet it. The building you posted for media looks interesting. Have you posted other views of it? That window up top looks familiar.
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful building the newspaper was housed in. What will happen to that? That is a pretty dog, trotting along with its fur blowing in the breeze.
ReplyDeleteVery nice sequence of images, really enjoyable!
ReplyDeleteJolly fun! Esp the doggy
