A/ABC

 Abandoned

This house looks do sad! It makes me wonder who lived there once and why they left the place to let it slowly fall apart.

Two letter Scrabble word, pronounced ʻAʻā

According to the Oxford Dictionary, aa is is very rough , jagged lava rock with a "frothy texture." Apparently aa is found in Hawaii.

  15. Funny thing, although this one is a bit smaller, and way in need of TLC but it looks a lot like the first house my hubby and I owned! I like your AA word too, and I've used it before too!

  16. Haven't played Scrabble in donkey's years... I love the abandoned house. Should be a book cover and the beginning of a story!

  17. What a strange little house! What's with all the random extra pieces of wood around the windows? Is this some funky art installation? Most bizarre, and yes, sad.
Love the picture of the outdoor rink on the lake. We have a small shallow lake nearby and the town usually is able to clear a sizable area for skating. Nothing better than skating outside on the perfect winter day.

  36. I use this word frequently in Words With Friends. It comes in handy at the end of the game and you have a lone "A" left and nowhere to put it! I'm a real fanatic on WWF. I have an account with one user name on my iphone and another account with another user name on my tablet. It's a real time-waster but, oh, so fun!
