1a. Insect-eaten sumac leaf: E
It looks like a cursive uppercase E to me!
1b. Shadowy E
2. Fave of the week
I have no idea why these two female goldeneye ducks are swimming in cirlces but it's a neat way to see what they look like coming and going.
3. Sky
Most of the time in winter it seems like the sky is either totally overcast or totally blue so when there's a mix I can't resist taking a photo of it.
I'm linking to Teresa's Friday Finds HERE
The ducks are my favourite of these.... very eye catching!

ReplyDeleteYour "E"s would be perfect additions to my hunt for alphabet letters.

ReplyDeleteLove the first one!
ReplyDeleteKind of an Elizabethan "E" don't you think?
ReplyDeletethe second is really beautiful, I love it!
ReplyDeleteI think you got some really great 'e's'...I see Golden eyes out at the strip pits but always too far away to get a good shot.
ReplyDeleteI always love an interesting sky shot...any time. But like you say, so nice to see one in winter.
Love your Es, EG!
ReplyDeleteYour leaf and cloud photos are especially interesting to me today. Be well, EG. (And, happy belated birthday . . . I never post HBDs on FB.)
ReplyDeleteI love your continuing alphabet series.
ReplyDeleteI also like mixed clouds and blue sky as opposed to all one way or the other.
Hi Ms. TG ~~ Looking good, I love your sky picture with fields below. We both selected the three letter word for "E's". I suspect sever will do that. Your ducks are cute.

I like all these shots but the last one is truly stellar. I love how the roads divide the shot, the trees anchor it, and the sky...oh, the sky! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe coming and going goldeneyes are very convenient. And I'm impressed at how well you're doing finding the alphabet. You've got a great eye!
Wow!!! Beauty!
ReplyDeleteThose Es are fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteAs always your photography is amazing! The ducks were quite kind to let you see them both ways. Love the partly cloudy sky. I am realyl enjoying your alphabet photos. Thanks so much for joining Friday's Hunt!
ReplyDeleteHi, your E are great! The ducks are interesting. I love the sky photo with a bit of snow on the landscape makes it look magical. Sylvia D.
ReplyDeleteI like that 'E', a natural letter that wasn't photoshopped! We love waterfowl, these goldeneye ladies a lovely example. Winter skies can be gray and dull or blue and bright. This pic is a lovely average of the two!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, what a pretty sky! I think my favorites are your two "E" pictures. :)
ReplyDeleteI was looking for an 'E' window but the sumac leaf was a terrific find. You are clever to keep an open mind to what you see about you.
ReplyDeleteIn all the years we've driven to Florida we've never had 20C temperatures and sunny skies the first day. This time last year was a totally different story on the way down, and at home. Supposed to be mild for a few days there as well - enjoy it while it lasts!
I am thrilled that I looked further to your earlier posts. One of the pitfalls of not blogging everyday. I miss so much. I love love love that first shot. The shadow shot is awesome and the last one is lovely too!
ReplyDeleteI was curious to see what you came up with for E this week! That sky is really interesting looking...looks like the clouds might be carrying something...perhaps rain or wind?
ReplyDeleteSo creative with the letters, Id like to make up my last name in letters one day, maybe I should be watching more closely :)
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous sky. While a deep blue sky can be beautiful it's sometimes the changeability of of a stormy sky that gives more interest
