Dairy Barns

Somewhere in south-central Ontario, possibly Clarington

This must have been a successful dairy operation at one time.

  1. The barn needs some TLC. What gives with the topless silos? They are becoming a common sight.

  6. That's a huge complex. I always wonder what happened that the place has gone to seed. Maybe they've sold out and moved on?

  8. What a heart breaker for those that love barns so much and do not want them to fall into disrepair. I agree with you that in days past it was certainly used. That style of curved roof is one of my favorites. I think it adds so much to the overall appearance of the structure. It looks like it has seen its day and is now headed for the happy hunting ground for old and forgotten barns. The snow is gorgeous.

  16. What a big barn it has been...I am to the point that I am happy if they use the metal siding and save them.
