Outside seating in January - Brrrrr!
February 1st is City Daily Theme Day and this month the theme is Favourite Coffee Shop.
To be honest, I don't have a favourite coffee shop. My favourite cup of coffee is early in the morning when I first get up, way too early to be out and about so I drink it in my my own home.
But THIS WEEK my favourite coffee shop was this one because...look at those gorgeous shadows!
More than a few customers were wondering what the heck I was photographing. LOL
I am linking to City Daily Photo Theme Days HERE
nice shadows, indeed.
ReplyDeleteExcelente trabalho e belas fotografias.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e boa semana.
Beautiful light and shadow image! Liked that round table and good chat with someone will be better
ReplyDeleteI love the shadows and the chairs that made them. i don't buy coffee out, prefer my own.. at 11 cents a cup compared to 3 to 4 dollars a cup, it might choke me. but i would like to sit at the table in those chairs on a beautiful day and stare at the view and even have a cup of coffee.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shadows and it looks like a nice spot to have a cup of coffee too.
ReplyDeleteI'm sitting in front of my laptop, I'm wearing my jammies, and I'm sipping on my first cuppa coffee... in my fave coffee shop..... my house! But I often meet with friends at a coffee shop in town. Great shadows. Nice to see the sunshine. Happy February to you!
ReplyDeleteYou see a lot more of the world looking for shadows than the rest of us who just walk on by! Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI think you did well. Much more fun shots than that blasted coffee (that I hate ...)
ReplyDeleteCoffee outside is always the best option, obviously with some nice weather!
ReplyDeletecoffee is not my cup of tea
ReplyDeleteGreat shadows indeed!
ReplyDeleteOh I loooove that you never miss a chance to capture unusual shadows EG, hope you made time for a coffee :)
ReplyDeleteI love your eye
ReplyDeleteSplendid shadows, EG!
ReplyDeleteThe shadows have it!
ReplyDeleteTerrific shadows and post for the day, as always, EG!! Hope you're ready for a new week and a new month!! Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteYou caught some great shadows and shapes.
ReplyDeleteThe shadows are awesome!!
ReplyDeleteDarn it! I've been waiting for someone to show a Tim's. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe artist's eye sees things others don't! Love your shadows and I'm all about that first cup of coffee when it's still dark out.
ReplyDeleteRMW
Lovely play between shadow and light.
ReplyDeleteReally fun finding shadows, I think!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of us get strange looks when out shooting pics!
ReplyDeleteI head straight to the coffee when I wake up too. Grea shadow captures! Happy February, enjoy your new week!
ReplyDeleteYou'll soon earn the name the "shadow lady". :-)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it true? That first one in the morning!
ReplyDelete(ツ) from Cottage Country Ontario , ON, Canada!
I like this coffee and also your photos.
ReplyDeleteThose shadows are fabulous! I usually drink my one cup of coffee at home too and just go to a coffee shop for the pastry!
ReplyDeleteI tell Roger quite often probably wonder about my sanity when they see me photographing some things. These are some interesting shadows.
ReplyDeleteThose are part of the 'hazards' of being a photographer, having people stare and think you've lost it all.No matter, you got great shots.
ReplyDeleteNice shots even if you were a curiosity to the spectators.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite coffee shop is my own kitchen because I roast my own and choose beans from all over the world. Ethiopia grows one of my favorite. Looks cold to enjoy coffee outside.
ReplyDeleteGreat shadows!
ReplyDeleteI'm generally a one early morning coffee guy too. Every now and then, we'll pick up a Tims if we are out and about.
ReplyDeleteFunny, indeed! So lovely mix of lights and shadows... You had a good day and also lots of fun, I guess!! So creative...
ReplyDeleteBest regards!
I'll bet they did wonder. The mad photographer…
ReplyDelete;)
Oh one gets used to being looked at askance for taking weird pics... They are really cool!
ReplyDeleteCoffee at the cafe was not drinking, but interesting photos you've done. Regards.
ReplyDeleteVery artistic. Love seeing those shadows too.
ReplyDeleteLove your interpretation of this month's theme, beautifully captured images!
ReplyDeleteYou should not have worried about a "favorite coffee shop" because this month's theme was only " Scene from a Coffee House". And you did a wonderful take on it, thank you! :-)
