So neat. Does the goose bother them? Is it just a perception thing or is the Canada Goose that much bigger than them?

The ferry boat ride to visit my Mother is a short one--only 20 minutes or so depending how fast/slow the pilot goes. LOL MB

An idyllic scene - after much rain, perhaps.

How much does one really need to make a house a home? I lived in a tiny cottage for 14 years after my divorce and I still miss it!

Such graceful birds. They make a nice couple, I think.

Wonderful island photo! The birds made great models for you. Is it a romantic meeting place for birds? Ha! Kind regards from EAGAN daily photo in Minnesota

I didn't see a 2nd egret until I clicked on it and enlarged -- jsut presumed the goose was an egret in the shadows. . . Great catch! The egrets are beautiful birds.

We have 2 herons in the neigbourhood, but I have not been able to take any photos of them. They scare so easily... So I'm impressed: Beautiful shot!

MB,
The goose and egrets seem to get along well. The goose's body is bigger but I think the egrets are taller.
