Exploring Central Ontario (CANADA)...and beyond
I think you're a little bit too shy. I would have rung the bell! How did you resist the temptation?!
Now that's a different kind of cow bell! ;)
A most unusual "cow bell."
That is a very neat cow bell. Now we will never know if anybody was home. Pull that string!!! MBI have been having problems with my computer and haven't been able to visit or make comments---I hope THAT is over. MBI love your sunshine post. MB
Wonderful shot! Love the rust on the cow and the bell echoing the red paint, and the contrast between the rough wood and the smooth metal! Even a couple of strands of spiderweb!!
That is a neat bell. I agree with the others that you should have rung the bell.
No one is home here! I like this!
now that's a cow bell! When we went to the olympics we bought cow bells and took them with us. I didn't know it was a tradition to ring the bells as the skiiers crossed the finish line. It was a lot of fun.
Great picture! I wonder where I could find one of those...
What a clever bell, I agree with the others tho you should have pulled the string.Darla
I love that bell. I would have rung it. I have all kind of bells, but none as differant as that one.
Maybe they ring the bell to call the cows in. I have a bell like that only it is a horse on it instead of a cow.
That is a great find. I think I would have had to ring the bell too though! Nicely done!
Beautiful and funny: to me you win the first prize!:-)
I would have definitely rung the bell, just to see who came running!
Hello I am the art director at Lake Simcoe Living magazine. We are very interested in using one of your photos in our winter09 issue. Please contact me at email@example.com as soon as you can.
ring it till the cows come home!
That's a very cool bell! I would have tried it!
Cute one, EG... I've seen 'cow bells' before--but none like that one. NEAT!!Hugs,Betsy
The cows on grandma's farm wore little bells so we could find them in the woods. I guess it's not unreasonable to a business establishment to ring a bell to call customers to din-din.Love the photo!
Interesting bell -- did it ring attention to someone coming to help you and you didn't need help? I would have tried it too! I wonder why they allowed it to rust?
What a great bell. I'm not sure I would have been able to keep myself from giving the bell a little ring a ding. You can find my MM at http://michelle-onecraftymama.blogspot.com/
WOW! You going to get published in Lake Simcoe Living magazine? Let us know!!!!!!!!! I hope they pay you for it. Ü
Very nice! First time I see a bell larger than the cow! LOLGod bless you!Cezar
What a cute bell! I like it!
:-)) A cow bell like we have one (she is still fully painted), loud but melodious.
A really cool bell EG. I love it!B.
Love the bell and the red background! great shot and perspective.Happy RT, mine is here!
Oh I just love that bell, dinner time ringing..In my mind.
That's a nice detail. The imperfection of the bell is charming.
What a fun shot. Would have worked well for Ruby Tuesday as well. Ring-a-ding-ding.
