Hawk/ Camera Critters

Anyone know what kind of hawk this is? He/she was not afraid of me. I guess it knew there was no way I could (or would) climb the tree it was in.

I am not an expert at id-ing hawks. But it looks like it has a belly band, could be the Red Tailed hawk.
Great shot!

It is a beautiful Hawk. I remember you saying you could never get a hawk to stay still enough to capture a shot. YAY!! you did it.

A Red-Tail Hawk doesn't always have a red tail. Depends on the season. MB
