Mount Albert Creek/ Watery Wednesday

Several creeks flow through East Gwillimbury, all flowing northerly into Lake Simcoe.  This one - Mount Albert Creek - is on the east side of town. If you look closely, you can see a thin layer of ice on the creek.

This map shows the creeks and rivers that flow into Lake Simcoe.  East Gwillimbury is located on the south side of the lake in York Region.

Here you can see why I take so many photos of Lake Simcoe - it's so close!

This creek looks so familiar to the ones here. Thin layer of ice too. We're supposed to get lake effect snow tonight. The 24" we got last week is almost gone and we can start over again.
Have a great week.

Neat picture, EG... AND--it looks cold up there. Thanks for showing us the lake --and nearby creeks. Won't be long 'til that water is totally frozen!!!

Hugs,

Yes, the ice is there to stay, for a few months! I love the reflections, though, and the bright blue sky. It just seems so dark with all the clouds we have been having.

Beautiful and cold too. I've said this before and it is so true. You live in such a picturesque area. Keep taking those pictures. MB
