The a gorgeous sky. Glad you captured it before the farm becomes a subdivision. Sad for me to see how my city sprawled out and gobbled up so many family own farms to put up cookie cutter subdivisions.

This is awesome, that lacy tree back lit by the sunset!!

Is that a tree? It looks more like a macro shot of a match stick lighting on fire. Stunning image!

Fantastic sky! We drove up to Stouffville last weekend and I was very frustrated to see all the new homes that have gone up in that area. Lots of stores and malls too! Whatever happened to saving the moraine? And where the heck are all these people coming from - the ones who will buy these homes?

You do sunsets/sunrises so very well.

The outline of clouds almost creates a fantasy landscape of rolling hills! Stunning colours!

Gorgeous capture of an incredible sky! As always, I love the bare trees etched against the brilliant sky. Like the others, I glad you capture this before it becomes a subdivision!! Have a great weekend!

Fire is a great title for that sky, shame about the loss of the farm and open land, hope the subdivision makes an effort to put in some parkland for everyone to continue to enjoy views like this.

Beautiful and soon the scene will be obstructed by buildings...ugh! That is tragic!

Rather sad, isn't it? Progress. And the Ontario skies are lovely!

i hope it wouldn't affect the spectacular view of sunset when the subdivision is completed.

Oh, no! Everyone deserves to have a home, but we as a race deserve to have our habitat! I would fight for the right to preserve this environment.

Nice rich and warm colours. I know it is cold there, but the composition and colours of this photo really warms it up! :)

I don't think the sunset will be as pretty over a subdivision. This sky has tremendous color.
