Bolsover/ Sky Watch

Last night (September 29), Talbot River, Bolsover, Ontario

From the road, my camera peeked through some staghorn sumac bushes and other foliage to  capture the light and reflections on the river.

What a beautiful setting. If you don't mind, I'll just sit here on the dock and enjoy the scene for a while.

Glorious photo. Makes me want to be right there, in that spot, at that time. I love the colors of the sky reflected in the water, but I especially love the little glimpses of scarlet in the foreground. What a beautiful place.

It's a serenely sunlit setting, made lovelier by the deep red of the leaves peeking around the edges.
I had a staghorn sumac when I lived in BC, and loved its fuzzy branches and brilliant red fall leaves.
