Painted Lady/ Camera Critters

A painted lady butterfly sipping nectar

Butterflies are still visiting my butterfly bush and I'm happily taking photos of them.

Oh my, that one is a beauty. I haven't seen too many Butterflies this summer and we have had lots of pretty flowers---maybe too much rain.

That a stunning photo! Beautiful! I was in the butterfly garden at The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art grounds. We saw so many butterflies, but I need a new camera to get in close enough, Now if I had my old 35mm....

Nice shot. Unfortunately, butterfly bushes are now considered noxious weeds here in western Oregon. They spread like crazy!
