Cook's Bay/ Sky Watch

Last evening on Cook's Bay

There was a lot of action out on the bay yesterday evening and these guys were in a hurry to join in. It sounded like fireworks out in the distance. Duck hunting season.

Simply divine! The delicate leaves on the branches point downwards to the silhouettes on the lake. Perfection! Should be enlarged and framed and hung on a wall!

I was feeling pretty mellow admiring your well-framed silhouette against the orange sky... then I read B Square and cracked up. He's so right, though. Happy sky-watching, EG.

That looks so peaceful and beautiful. It's strange to think of lots of gunshots disturbing everything.

It makes me think that I should get out of the city more often - but not when it is duck-hunting season I guess.

If it was Cooks Straits New zealand, it might not be wise for the men to be out in a small boat at night.

But your's is Cook's bay in Canada, so i guess it is alright.

A wonderful evening and sunset but the duck hunting is not really my cup of tea. Fishing yes, shooting no.
