Ice Crystals/ Macro Monday

Frost crystals on the edge of dried fern

Last Wednesday morning we awoke to find a heavy frost on everything outdoors. Of course my camera begged to see what it could see, and THIS is what it saw.

Lovely shot. We have had only one day of frost and not a heavy one.

We get no frost here so I really enjoy seeing pictures of frost. I'm amazed by the delicate crystal formation and you captured it nicely.

Yes, we woke to a frost this morning, too - and a blackbird on the lawn eating the fallen pears. Pretty, but very chilly.
