Private Pond #2/ Weekend Reflections

Pond on back road, Uxbridge

The snow on the trees, grass and cattails around this pond means there will soon be ice.

It's a lovely scene, even if it means the cold is coming!

I suppose they have left for the season, but that gave you a nice opportunity for a fine photo.

Have a nice weekend!

Very fine shot of this cold scenery, the frost and the fine light gives me almost shivering...

It would be fun to have a pond to ice skate on. It doesn't ever get cold enough here. My pond gets slightly frozen at times and one day the small dog walked on it and it creaked and wobbled but never frozen solid. MB

I'm not sure I'm ready for the prospect of an ice-covered pond, but this pond is beautiful as it is. You've captured a wonderful reflection on that mirror-like surface.

Nice reflection. That raft reminds me of the raft at the pond where I learned to swim and dive about ** years ago.

Enjoy your weekend.

I like this picture, and 'sort of' looking forward to our first snowfall.

Sarah said they had some sleet and snow when I was home before...I didn't see any here, but I was so sick I didn't know much of what was going on for two or three days.

Even though I love snow, I dread the cold and have not figured a way to have one without the other.

Beautiful pastoral scene with the cattails in the foreground. I look forward to your shots once there is ice covering this pond.
