Shaw's Creek/ Watery Wednesday

Dam at Alton Mill on Shaw's Creek

Can you imagine yourself sitting on the heart-shaped rock watching the water flow over the dam and listening to the sound?

I am linking to Watery Wednesday where you can find many more watery photos.

Hi there - thanks for dropping by my ill fated "My World Tuesday" post - shame that MWT had to end - but I suppose it’s the correct decision.

I wonder how much time has been spent (but not lost!) just looking into that weir!

The grand-piano shaped rock looks nice to sit. I'll enjoy the soundscape and splash of the water. I want to be at a cool place.

The sound of running water is always captivating whether it is rushing, trickling, flowing...you get the picture! I could sit here and enjoy...great snap.

An idyllic place to sit and take in the sight and sounds. Good idea. I'd like to check this one out in person! Beautiful falls and a walk with an excellent view of the dammed water, falls and down stream. Well done.
