Barrie Waterfront/ Weekend Reflections

Reflection,  Barrie, Ontario last Monday

As long as the mallards can find open water, they'll stay.

These ducks feel very welcome here

They look like happy ducks to me, hope they get lots of food tossed to them?!

The first I notice is that original house! So special and beautiful! And of course the river with the ducks! :)

I'd like to sit on one of those benches and watch the ducks.

i enlarged the photo to see if the sign said Welcome Ducks. HA HA, i like that first photo, and as i looked at it i was wondering if I had the nerve to step out on the balcony?

Of course they should be - what are waters like these without the birds around?

PS Thank you for the comment: Sun-up today was 09:40 and and sunset will be 15:27.

People who live in these yellow house are lucky: they have a great view and funny neighbours!

Now, that's just ducky! Actually I really like the symmetry of that building in the background and the color! Cool!

That building must be a prime spot in Barrie - who would ever leave? Great reflection.

Beautiful shot! (a different view of Barrie from mine - but not that far away!)
And I like the welcome sign for the ducks.

The building by the waterway is an interesting colour and the balconies are like added features protruding quite geometrically! But the welcome sign for the ducks is novel! Great idea! Beautiful subtle reflections too!

Why wouldn't the mallards feel welcome with such a hospitable sign? A mellow yellow photo, EG!
