Exploring Central Ontario (CANADA)...and beyond
We had the same kind of visitors but I love the frog in your birdbath. Great shots!
These are such fun photos. Especially the second one!
Now that just made me smile!
This is too cute! What a funny creature. I don't think it was afraid of the frog, though.Re your comments: I think the bucket truck people brag about how big their bucket trucks are when they have lunch. And you are right on about fan(atics) belonging to something bigger than themselves. That's the appeal of many "special" groups.
i can't stop SMILING! soooo sweet so adorable
I could watch birds splashing in the bird bath all day.Darla
that was joyful to experience - how fun!!!!
What a fun encounter of a little bird.It will refer to its handbook for the identity of this bigger fellow.
It reminds me of Lorelei.
This is a fine series with the little blue jay who looks like he really needed this bath.
What a great photo sequence. The baby obviously enjoyed his bath.
The frog seems to be a passive observer. Great photos, esp the first one.

I have never ever seen a baby blue jay! So adorable, I love the one where he/she is face-to-face with that frog. You spot amazing things :)

Beautiful subject to capture on camera. Love the frog! I can only imagine what it would say if it were alive, "You should see what else goes here:)" Nice shots!
Lovely shots. Looks so cool.
They do enjoy a bath so much!
Love the bath time shots. The jays do look like they are enjoying themselves. Wonderful shots for your WBW!
A great way of telling/showing the story of the bird's bathtime.
Good shots! I enjoy seeing birds taking a "bath"!
Great shots of the bathing beauties with the frog. I have a thing about frogs and have a lot of frog sculptures in my garden but none around the bird baths.
That last shot made me laugh out loud- too funny!

These are great and I adore Blue Jays! In fact my entry is also one for this week. I had to care for a one eyed fledgling Blue Jay 2 years ago, and rally learned to care about them~
If a bird kisses a frog, does is turn into a prince or into a royal eagle? ;)
