Lonely/Rural Thursday

Summer's End

The pond looks kinda lonely with no one out fishing in the rowboat.

Cheer up, little rowboat! Weekend is coming!

Fun picture! Maybe the rowboat is waiting for a mate?

I picture a couple of kids standing on the waters edge with fishing poles in their hands.

Still looks like summer, though, except for those long shadows that signify the approach of fall. Love the boat's reflection!

It really feels like summer's ending here, lovely autumnal tones. We're still feeling summer, with some warmer temperatures clinging on, but I'm looking forward to autumn!

It is a pretty, natural scene, EG. You can repost it tomorrow and link it to Weekend Reflections, too.

It does look kind of sad sitting there by itself. Lovely capture. :)

I think the little rowboat might need a rest and is looking forward to winter.
