Shopping By Boat/Rural Thursday

Returning with groceries

This shopper needed the boat to get groceries. I guess her husband or kids had the car.

Or maybe the store was on an island. You know, one of those island stores. The Pirate Shop. Right?

Sounds like shopping in our neck of the woods...I would love to live on an island and have to go by boat to the mainland to get some shopping done. How awesome that would be....although I might would like a better boat ;)

Colors & clarity, wonderful... but, are we sure the dock is safe? =)

Shopping by boat sounds like fun.... on a sunny day.... but I don't think I'd like it quite so much on a rainy windy day. I'd send someone else to the store then!

Lovely scene! And there isn't much choice if you live on an island.

I have a couple of friends with cottages on islands and the boat is like their car. Not nice in bad weather.

That is certainly one way to do your shopping. I just get my local supermarket to deliver it to my door :)
