Old Town Hall/Weekend Reflections

Old Town Hall, Newmarket

These reflections are from my archives and I have no idea why I haven't used them before. I think the glass in the windows make spooktacular wonky reflections.

Side window #1

This side widow reflects a brick building and...

Side window #2

so does this one. But...

Side window #3

this window reflects a bit of clear blue sky as well as the brick building. Spooky, don't you agree?

Glad you found these...perfect for the Reflections meme and yes a bit eerie, but beautiful..sort of reminds me of op-art.The more you look, the more shimmery and shape shifting .

I love your reflections!!!

These are really wonky windows. I wonder if it's old wavy glass in them that does that. I love old window and doorways.

Nice reflections!

We didn't get all the snow that they got just north of here, but we got ice, freezing rain, sleet, thunder & lightening... and it's already almost gone, now. YaY! =)

Yes, precious reflections create beautiful abstractions.

I wasn't sure what "wonky" meant and then I saw your reflections and now I understand perfectly! Great job!

Love the 'wonky' reflections. Is Poe there with you? LOL Very eerie. MB

Love the twisted reflections in old glass. Good eye.

It's nice to see all the wonky glass gathered together.

It made me wonder: Is there something stacked against the window in addition to the "wonkyness"? It reminds me of some kind of mattresses behind glass I once saw.

Ooh, very spooky but funky too! I like the way they bend, like abstract art:) (Oh yes, our skating season is tragically short, nothing like Canada or even not-far Upstate NY or Boston!)

Cool to see the contorted images in old glass! : )

Great shots! I'd call them "atmospheric." I love the reflections in the glass and the arches above the windows. Good job!

Beautiful reflections ...I thing the glass must be extra thick giving these amazing reflected shapes.
