B/Alphabe-Thursday

 Bubbles

 B is for BUBBLES

Personally, I think no one is ever too old to play with bubbles. I have a jar of bubble solution in my office and plan to play with it some day soon.  Want to come play with me?

Wands with many holes to make zillions of bubbles all at once

This is one activity that - except for the fancy plastic wands with many holes - hasn't changed much since I was a kid.

Love the first shot. It's hard to capture bubbles floating on the breeze. The kids are having fun aren't they. I'm going to buy bubbles as our grandsons are coming to visit in July. I think I'll have fun too! :)

I was recently at a dinner where the hosts placed bottles of bubble mix at every place setting. The bubbles weren't huge, but it was kind of fun.

Blowing bubbles never go out of style do they? I remember blowing bubbles when I was a kid, we bought them for our son and have just bought them for our great-niece's second birthday.

Your photos are great and uplifting.

Just like old times. If you decide to play with bubbles in your office, please set up a video camera that you can share with the world.

I hadn't thought about bubbles in a long time. Well, except for that time when someone called me a "bubble-head" on the golf course. But that wasn't very nice, was it?

Sallie (FullTime-Life) said...

I agree! Great stress reliever too!

We used to keep a jar on our boat -- it's funny to watch them blow along the water...had kind of forgotten that, time to go buy some again.

And, now they have bubble machines. We never had that. They are endlessly fun. I did get my son a rope to make bubbles as big as he was. That was great fun.

Kate said...

What a charming photo! With or without a machine, blowing bubbles is childlike and fun for all ages.

I love these shots! What great captures - they make me want to go outside and play with my grandkids - actually I think I will!

Rohrerbot said...

These bubble shots are incredible! They are so much fun to film. But even better are the moments the kids have while lost in the act of blowing the bubbles. Magic!

Anybody who is too old to play with bubbles is just too old!

The last picture is such a beautiful moment captured between brother and sister.

Bubbles are always a brilliant way to fill up a boring afternoon.

I think you just gave me an idea for the next time I am babysitting.

Thanks for linking.
