F/Alphabe-Thursday

 Fog over Lake Ontario

F is for FOG

Sunday was hot, humid...and foggy. But that didn't keep some people indoors.

Same beach, looking the other way

A few dogs demanded they get their walkies. Note that the guy in the foreground had a doggy bag with him. Good dog owner!

 Grandma with three grandkids

Kids needed some fresh air. (I'm thinking grandma might have needed it too.)

Sailing in the fog

And even sailors were out. The boat had just motored out of the harbour and the captain was about to raise the sails. This looks like a challenge to me - very little wind and low visibility. Hmmm. I don't get it...but I'm a land lubber.

I am linking to Jenny Matlock at Alphabe-Thursday HERE

When it is too hot and humid I like to stay indoors or sit under the shade of a tree in the park. Those people on the boat might feel cool out on the water. Not sure as I'm a land lubber too ;-)

That's the only of kind of fog I like being in. Is this in Pickering??

I can almost feel the humidity coming from my monitor! Looks steamy, EG. :)

Definitely a triple H day (hot, hazy, humid)! The humidity is gone here this morning and now it's just cool and damp and cloudy. It makes me want to stay in the house.

As a youngster I lived on the shore of Lake Michigan, got used to the fog, and still love it.

Great shot of the boat in the fog. Don't know that sailing would work so well but it makes a great photo.

my favorites today are the second and third with people wandering in the foggy day... good guy with the doggy bag. not everyone is that good.

Good to be outside even if there is a bit of fog. Perhaps that sailor figures the fog will lift later in the day. I don't like sailing without visibility.

Foggy scenes are so serene. The sailboat really made me go ahhhhh.

many many years ago my husband had a sailboat on Lake Ontario and insisted on sailing in the fog, I was terrified that we would get lost and never be seen again!

I love the softness of foggy shots.

I love the first photo and the last of the boat. I've never seen fog roll in off a large body of water. We occasionally get fog in the winter when there is an inversion.

I'm a land lubber, also - but I do love watching the boats, and this is such a nice shot!

A hot day at the beach means we stay in the air-conditioning - wherever that may be. It's 92 here right now and very warm in the sun. I just got home from golfing ... might need to take a nap. Bye........

I love the foggy shots, beautiful photos all of them and now that I have actually set eyes on Lake Ontario after our last trip up north, I am delighted to see it again.

Looking at these pictures,I can almost feel the heat and humidity. Most definitely not my kind of weather.

Heehee, I love the word landlubber. The weather has been perfectly muggy here lately too. Doesn't look this good though!:)

I could go for a walk in the fog.

Beautiful pictures. We've had really hot, hazy weather here too.

Beautiful photos! I don't like the hot weather. I will fare better in cooler temps like the 70 's and 60's with low humidity!

It is always fun sharing and that sailboat is very cool.

Have a fun weekend and thanks againf or sharing!

I don't like the combo of heat and humidity, but if I had a gorgeous view like that...I would probably be out there as much as possible! Love that first shot!

We have the same fog on this side of Lake Ontario, in Rochester, NY. Lovely photos.

I am going to follow you.

These photographs of fog are fantastic...

I am fascinated by the sailboat sitting out there on a fog-filled day with no wind blowing... Very strange!

Fabulous post for the letter "F"!

Thanks for linking.
