Bumbling About

Bumblebee on periwinkle (Vinca minor)

Last week the bumblebees were out and about. I'm fond of these busy pollinators, the first I've seen this year.

I am linking with Saturday Critters HERE.

Really nice shot. I like to take pictures of them. They don't seem to mind posing. Of course, I'm a little frightened of them. Maybe they can smell fear.

Pretty good shot. These guys don't stay still for long.

Super pollinators ... we would be lost without them.

Beautiful close up of the bee. They move about so quickly so you did well to capture it still. I hope you have a nice weekend. Blessings. Pam

I didn't know the onomatopoeia ”Bumble"; we have so many words for sounds in Japanese and pollinaters was also the first for me (^_^)v

Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*

All seems right with the world when bumblebees are out and about doing their jobs and making honey. This very fuzzy one looks like he is wearing a fur coat. :)

I'm thinking of getting a 'buzz' on soon too.

Great title. One creepy looking bee; but very interesting at the same time! We have many different bees here, but I have never seen one like this one.
