Friend or Foe?

 Halt! Who goes there?

Sometimes when I'm out walking I get too close to someone else's personal space.

 UH-OH!

 Good doggie. Nice doggie!

I am linking with Saturday Critters HERE.

In his mind he is doing his job by barking. Handsome hound!

The rat dog next door has been yapping at us thru the fence for two years now. It does get a little irritating.

Sometimes the bark is worst than their bite. Then again sometimes it's the other way around. :)

I say friend! It's so wonderful to meet new friends along the way, and dogs surely know if you like them or not. Enjoy your weekend.

Good doggie, nice doggie and a real good guard dog it seems. Love your photos of this pretty dog.

They can be very intimidating. Dogs that is. And some neighbours too I suppose. :) This dog seems to know that it can't step off the grass. I hope.

I'm laughing, but when I see a dog in this pose looking at me, I give him a wide berth!

Oh you've just reminded me of some rather frightening encounters when I walked the countryside of Brittany... Beautiful dog there, was it really a howl?

Ela said...

I think it's a friend.
He/she is so cute :)

He is a cutie but I'd give him a wide berth until we were properly introduced.
