D/Alphabe-Thursday

 Decorated window

D is for Decorated

December is the darkest time of the year in the Northern Hemisphere so it sure is nice that so many people and businesses decorate their buildings and grounds with colourful decorations and lights.

The Christmas Spirit must be rampant in you area :-)
And I can vouch for the darkness and dreariness in the Northern Hemisphere in December

I don't believe I've seen a cookie decoration before. The first wreath you pictured is gorgeous.

Aren't those pretty decorations! It is dark here in NW Wisconsin, which is why I leave our Christmas decorations up well into January (or beyond) just to cheer things up a bit. :-)

Very cheerful decorations, it is pretty dark this time of year so colour is welcome.

The wreaths are gorgeous, and I wonder how that cookie got the snow on it? Everything is so pretty. I dd not know your fact about the darkness and decorating. Makes me want to keep my decorations up all winter!!

You found some good ones, EG!

We have a lot of people down here who do a lot of Xmas decorating, too. Probably came from up there. In fact, I did see an older woman from Ontario today driving a Ford SUV. She must have been listening to music 'cause her head was bobbing up and down!

We do have a wreath on our front door. It's pretty but needs more red, I think. Maybe next year.

I was thinking just that, coming home to a dark driveway after work... How nice it would be to have a lighting wreath on the house. Thanks for the encouragement! {:-D
