Nature in My Yard

 Lilacs

I just cannot believe how quickly the flowers are blooming. Truly all of a sudden. How can I keep up?

The lilacs look great. Ours are light blue and seem washed out in my shots. Sadly.

Pink lilacs? I've only seen the common purple ones. I like all pink flowers. Thse are especially rich in their color.

You are right - it is crazy with flowers now. Funny that there are still trees with no leaves.

We were sitting on the front porch. Hubby looked out at the trees and asked when the leaves came out! SIgh. He's not the most observant!

I haven't seen much in the way of pink lilacs, but the purple ones are in bloom.

Those are lively flowers. Tulips and other spring flowers are also now in full bloom in Russia.

I smelt a wonderful burst of lilac fragrance this afternoon. YUM. Such a pretty, perfumey time of year.But yes, this year everything is coming fast.Lovely photos.

Wow, these are stunning! They are all in your yard? You are surrounded by beauty right now! I have never seen lilacs such a deep, intense color! And the color of the tulips is breathtaking! And balancing it all out, the lovely and delicate apple blossoms.

Yes they did and now it is cooler again. I love the tulips and lilacs. My tulips got eaten by a rabbit or the deer... Michelle
