Farm Stand

 Rusty wheel on farm stand

Monday my husband and I were out and about and passed ...

 Not-ready-for-prime-time farm stand

this weathered but photogenic farm stand. In a few weeks, this stand will be loaded with farm fresh vegetables and fruit.

The first photo: cropped and tinkered with Poster Edges

Cropped, Poster Edges, B&W

What an interesting stand for selling produce. It looks a bit fragile for actual use though.

I've really enjoyed this year's crop of fresh vegetables, especially tomatoes. In about an hour I'll be headed 20 miles over to the next town to visit my favorite farmer! I'm afraid ours will be all gone in a few weeks.

They sure made a lot of racket even on dirt roads.

love the wheel shot and i would love to have that stand in my yard, not to sell produce, but it would make a beautiful flower display... i really like that stand

I love this old farm stand with it's rusty wheels and worn wood. It would be fun to visit and buy some fresh veggies from there too. Have a great day!

It does look very old, but I've seen similar ones used for markets.

These kinds of stands are the best places to buy peaches and tomatoes and everything else that's yummy!

Ah c'mon, it can still be used!!!

It's great that the farm stand was built tough and is still in use. I don't like our present throw-away attitudes. It makes a good photographic subject.

awwww, i wish it was filled with farm fresh goodies. perhaps soon!!!!

Our local produce stands "farmer's markets" are up and going in nearby towns. Which is great because I didn't get anything but a few serranos! Neat photos.

I love the look of that wagon. Those old wheels always remind me how comfortable our rides are these days.
