Mid September Nature Notes

 Butter 'n' Eggs

The growing season is definitely slowing down but there's still lots of colour. These photos were taken on a windy, overcast day.

Those berries look quite similar to something that's here. Not quite the same shade, but similar.

I like the down-home name of the Butter-and-Eggs. They're pretty flowers, too. The fall asters are always lovely, and the bees really like them.

Yes it is but the weather has been nice..I have never heard of rowen berries and am going to look them up.. they look so pretty...Michelle
