Early December

Dried and shriveled

There are plenty of brown leaves here but NO snow!  YET.

Cattails

It MUST be December - now that it's winter, my camera will not be able to resist taking photos of cattails.  (Speak to my camera's psychiatrist if you need an explanation.)

Black-capped Chickadee

These cute birds cannot pass up peanuts and or black-oil sunflower seeds.  We keep plenty of treats at our house to make sure they continue to visit.

'Tis the season

Live deer are hiding in the woods but rustic, wooden ones are out & about!

Please visit Michelle at Rambling Woods for more NATURE NOTES.

Old, Old House

In need of TLC

This photo is from my archives, taken a little over a year ago in Upstate New York.  Even though the exterior of the house needed tons of work, the owners felt festive enough to  decorate the doors with wreaths and the railings with garlands.

I haven't been back to see if now the house is in better shape.

In celebration of the old and wonderful "stuff", I  am connecting to Rubbish Tuesday HERE.

About Me

My photo
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city. My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.
